Came here for the $7 beer (natural light can), fries, and burger special. The bartender/sever was very attentive and friendly, the service was quick, and the burger was surprisingly delicious! Only thing to note, they will ask you if you want cheese/bacon/etc, but not tell you about the additional $2 charge for cheese. This pub is in a great location and makes for a great lunch when talking around Boston!

The staff is always friendly when you walk in, whether you are a local or an out of towner. Their menu is a lot of comfort food favorites, with great value for your dollars. Trivia nights are always fun and competitive, and karaoke night is a blast. They also have live music and DJs on some nights. Finally, if you are a sports fan, you can settle up at the bar and watch any one of the TVs against the bar wall. If you have a favorite team, just ask the bartender and they will put the game on for you! A great place to hang out and have a few.

Hole in the wall bar atmosphere that pours drinks heavy, plays great music, and just laid back fun. I was visiting Boston and just bar/pub crawling when we came upon this place. Ended up staying for two drinks rather than one because I like I mentioned they were not stingy with the pour. My friend had the clam chowder (she said it was good). I love finding places like this when I'm traveling.

Three of us stopped in for dinner: Cajun blackened swordfish Caesar salad - an ample portion of fish - but I wouldn't call that Cajun seasoning. Lots of romaine, Parmesan and croutons - could have tossed in a few grape tomatoes. Butterflied fried shrimp - six nice sized pieces. Not greasy - not overdone. Hamburger for the non-fish eater. Decent burger - but not outstanding. Also had a cup of clam chowder - well done. One specialty martini and two glasses of wine rounded out the order. Martini was ok but would have done just as well with a vodka-soda-splash of cran Bar area was empty when we arrived but filled in as the night progressed.

Cool little bar to catch a quick game. Review based on the service/atmosphere of the bar. Went to catch the Packer game on a Sunday, it wasn't packed which was nice (Pats weren't playing so that's probably why lol). I had a Bloodymary with the work which was really tasty! The bar tender and servers were very nice and attentive. Also very nice when asked for his input when ordering a drink. They also have labels under each tv so you know who's playing where. It's really helpful when deciding where to sit!

It's hard to believe I was at the same place that has such awful reviews. We went around 1pm the Tuesday before the 4th. The city was packed, the tall ships were in town. We didn't want to deal with crowds at Quincy Market, so we ended up here. The bartender/waiter was fast, efficient and friendly. He had the whole restaurant and bar under control. I had the Boston Brick red, nachos and the delicious chowder. My husband had the french onion, and my son had a HUGE burger. It's a bar, so we weren't expecting a kids menu....but you can't go wrong with burgers. Id go back in a heartback!
